EMBALSE – edición especial, Serie en demasía
Los gestos editoriales contenidos en esta serie proponen recuperar materia que reposa en nuestro taller, entregada en calidad de excedente en los procesos industriales de impresión de algunas de nuestras publicaciones anteriores, para convertirlas en algo nuevo, que interpele las condiciones de producción, reproducción y vida actuales.
Hoy, la demasía de 30 ejemplares que nos entregó la industria gráfica en 2016 de la primera edición de Embalse es puesta en circulación, intervenida a la luz del devenir del libro original, del avance de la ultraderecha, del reciente cierre de las Unidades Turísticas y la degradación del Estado como ineficiente e innecesario.
Donde hay una necesidad, nace un derecho.
EMBALSE – en demasía series
The publishing initiatives contained in this series aim to recover material that lies dormant in our workshop, delivered as surplus from the industrial printing processes of some of our previous publications, to transform it into something new that challenges current conditions of production, reproduction, and living.
Today, the 30 surplus copies of the first edition of Embalse that the printing industry gave us in 2016 are being released, reworked in relation to the evolution of the original book, the rise of the ultra-right government, the recent shutdown of tourist centers depicted in the book, and the degradation of the State as inefficient and unnecessary.
